Every season, I will be posting an Edit of 10 or so pieces. You can use the Edit as inspiration when creating your own capsule wardrobe and/or shop the links to add any new pieces to your wardrobe that you need or like.
Spring time at last!
This week saw the first official day of spring (20 March). As I’ve written about before, spring is easily my favourite season.
For those of you who also love spring, I am sure you are looking forward to dispensing of those winter coats and wearing fresher, lighter colours.
La Rose Edit: Spring 2019
Having recently written about a) how you can gather inspiration for your capsule wardrobes and b) Spring Trends 2019 (and you can read those blogs posts here and here), I’ve put together La Rose Edit: Spring 2019.
Colour palette
It is based upon the following colour palette:
Trends
It also incorporates a few of the key trends for Spring ’19:
neutrals
sage green
utility
prairie dresses.
Composition
The Edit is made up of 10 items of clothing and 3 accessories / outer wear (i.e. sneakers + trench coat + tote bag).
Use what you already have!
While the Edit is shop-able, you may have lots of similar items in your wardrobe already, in which case, you can use what you already have!
There’s absolutely no need to buy anything new. The links are there in case you want to add one or two new pieces.
Tweak it
You can absolutely tweak the Edit:
If sage green isn’t your thing, swap it out for dusty pink or lilac or another accent colour of your choosing.
If you don’t like wearing skirts, swap them out for trousers in those colours.
Mini capsule wardrobe
The Edit is a mini capsule wardrobe and, over the next few weeks, I will be demonstrating how you make multiple outfits with just those 13 items. Follow me on Instagram (@stylealarose) to see that.
Visit
Finally, you can visit La Rose Edit: Spring 2019 here. Happy shopping!
